Accountant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
36.00 to $ 38.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 07:30am to05:30pm )
- Manage all aspects of the accounting functions including accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Oversee cash management processes, including monitoring cash flow and optimizing cash reserves.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Ensure timely completion of month-end close processes and prepare financial statements for management review.
- Provide guidance on governmental accounting practices and ensure adherence to relevant regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team, fostering professional development and best practices.
Accountant Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role in a corporate environment.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and governmental accounting standards.
- Proficiency in financial report writing, financial analysis, and cash management techniques.
- Familiarity with debits, credits, accounts receivable processes, and payroll systems.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing a team effectively.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
