Quality Technician needed in Jackson on 1st shift. Pay starting at $20-$26/hr.

Quality Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 26.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Is considered primary position for First Article / Set-up verification using standard bench top or hand measurement instruments as well as Optical Comparator & CMM.
- Act as roaming inspector performing random checks to ensure part integrity.
- Maintain gage lab and all gaging equipment, including repair & replacement.
- Manage external gage calibration process.
- Manage gage loan process including scheduling of required gages prior to production.
- Assist in performing First Article Layouts on initial part submissions.
- Assist with performing Process and Dock Audits.
- Conduct QMS Internal Audits as required.
Quality Technician Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or equivalent experience.
- Knowledgeable in reading of blueprints and GDT.
- In-depth knowledge of inspection methodology.
- Previous CMM operation experience (Zeiss Calypso software).
- Computer literate (Excel, Word, etc).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Knowledge of inspection equipment maintenance and repair.
