Grinder Details:
Temporary position- $
14.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Set up and operate grinding machines (e.g., surface grinders, cylindrical grinders, bench grinders).
- Read blueprints, job orders, and production schedules to determine specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to check dimensions.
- Perform deburring, polishing, and finishing of metal parts. Inspect finished parts for quality, making necessary adjustments.
- Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition. Keep work area clean and organized in compliance with safety standards.
- Report equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisor.
Grinder Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a grinder or in a similar role in manufacturing.
- Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring instruments.
- Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Basic math and mechanical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Willingness to work shifts or overtime as required.
