Teflon Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
- Form and Shape - Establish hydraulic presses, apply heat, and mold Teflon into precision components.
- Preparation and Finishing - Clean, sand, and prepare parts to adhere to rigorous quality specifications.
- Material Handling - Safely maneuver billets and finished pieces utilizing overhead cranes or forklifts.
- Inspection for Perfection - Employ calipers, gauges, and various measuring tools to ascertain precise dimensions.
- Quality Assurance - Document results, identify discrepancies, and ensure that every part conforms to established standards.
- Safety Protocol - Advocate for a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment.
Teflon Technician Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently.
- Proficient in fundamental mathematics, reading comprehension, and computer skills.
- Experienced in metal forming and machining processes.
- Exhibits strong mechanical aptitude and possesses effective troubleshooting capabilities.
- Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments.
- Availability to work overtime on Fridays and/or Saturdays as required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
