Lead Maintenance Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
85,000.00 to $ 120,000.00 / annually First Shift
- Reviews work orders to determine work priorities. Prioritizes and delegates the work to Team members or outside contractors
- Repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools and equipment to ensure continuous production operations
- Communicates and coordinates service repair and parts and coordinates with purchasing dept. the ordering
- Performs maintenance activities on utility systems to provide continuous supply of air required for operations
- Requests tools, equipment, and supplies required for operations
- Complies with company policies and safety regulations
- Actively participates in the; development, enforcement and training of Safety Programs relative to the Maintenance department and OSHA regulations
- Documents and reports all Attendance Occurrences, Incidents, Injuries and Near Misses
- Uphold the Company’s Quality, Work & Safety standards and rules
Lead Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Journeyman’s Card or completion of a registered or certified electrical/mechanical apprenticeship program – Preferred
- 10 years of experience preferred in manufacturing maintenance
- Working knowledge of electronic, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts
- Knowledge of relay and programmable logic controllers; PLC troubleshooting and programming
- Strong communication skills both oral and written to multiple levels of audience
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret; general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations
- Read and interpret documents such as, work rules, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to understand and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, diagrams, engineering specifications and operating instructions
- Ability to write reports, business correspondences and procedure manuals
- Ability to perform machine repair and automation equipment repair
- Ability to perform machine maintenance and machine troubleshooting
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft products
- Experience with printed circuit boards.
- Ability to be certified in forklift operation
