Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.

What steps should you take if you suspect you've received a fraudulent text?

Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

Helping you stay secure - how to recognize a scam

Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Delivery Driver Details:

Temp-to-Hire position
$17.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 06:00am to 02:30pm)

Pulling and loading orders onto trucks
Lifting up to 50 lbs as needed, using warehouse equipment to move product
Driving box trucks to make deliveries to customer sites
Being a positive representative of the company to contacts at all of their customers
Accuracy in all aspects of job including order pulling, tracking deliveries, etc.

Delivery Driver Qualifications:

Must have a Clean MVR
Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Physical
Solid recent warehouse, distribution and/or delivery experience
Resume showing related experience for client review is required
Ability to lift and move product up to 50 lbs as needed during shift

Applicant may be subject to a background check
Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
