Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to05:00pm )
SUMMARY: General Wet Cast Concrete Laborers operate a variety of equipment and perform all types of construction and maintenance related work in the manufacturing and production process of concrete products. Duties include tying reinforcing steel, preparing forms, and casting concrete according to fabrication drawings. This position performs general manual labor tasks such as loading, unloading, and moving materials. Assists operators with machinery used in the production process. Cleans and maintains buildings, materials, and equipment throughout the plant as needed.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:•Comply with all safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas and adhere to company OSHA safety guidelines at all times. Promote a safe work environment for all staff, vendors, and customers.•Shovel concrete into wheelbarrow and clean out bucket.•Setting up and pouring of concrete forms and finishing of the final product. •Miscellaneous clean-up including picking up garbage and cutting scrap mesh.•Willingness to continuously learn and be open to feedback to improve individual performance; comply with all company policies unit work rules, and directives for the fulfillment of maximum production and quota objectives.•Regular time and attendance to meet customer needs. •Any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by your supervisor at any given time and in any given area.
Concrete Laborer Qualifications:
- Able to work overtime if needed
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
