We are seeking a detail-oriented and resourceful Purchasing Agent to manage the procurement of goods and services for our client.

Purchasing Agent Details:
Temporary position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- create POs and help our current purchasing manager with workload.
- take requisitions, understand approval to buy, and release the PO.
- work to expedite where needed. Very tactical purchasing.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to determine purchasing needs.
- Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Purchasing Agent Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
