Gate Clerk 1st Shift Details:
Temporary position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments according to company and carrier requirements.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update databases as needed.
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Keep shipping and receiving areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Handle shipping documents, invoices, and tracking information.
- Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment (if required).
Gate Clerk 1st Shift Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in logistics or warehousing is a plus.
- Proven experience in shipping/receiving, inventory management, or a similar role.
- Ability to operate forklifts or material handling equipment (certification preferred if required).
- Strong attention to detail for inspecting shipments, verifying orders, and maintaining records.
- Basic computer skills for updating inventory databases and handling shipping documents.
- Good organizational skills to keep work areas clean and compliant with safety standards.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with vendors, carriers, and internal teams.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
