Assistant Warehouse Manager
Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for assisting the Warehouse Operations Manager in the day-to -day operations of the company warehouses in Alabama and will help oversee the efficient receipt, storage, picking, wrapping/stabilization, shipping, and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

Assistant Warehouse Manager Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
21.63 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift
- Assists in maintaining the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; and advising management on needed actions.
- Assist in managing and controlling inventory levels by helping conduct physical and cycle counts; reconciling with the ERP system; and producing reports and statistics regularly( IN/OUT status report, dead stock report, ABC reports, Missed fulfillment reports, etc.)
Assistant Warehouse Manager Qualifications:
- A high school diploma, general education or degree, or equivalent is required. AS/AA in Business Administration, logistics, fulfillment, or Supply Chain Management, Human Resources, or relevant field preferred.
- 2+ years of increasing experience in the warehousing, logistics, fulfillment or transportation industry.
- 2+ years of experience in warehouse management and supply chain management procedures and best practices.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
