Quality Manager Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
31.25 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Ensure food safety practices are followed on the production floor.
- Review, approve, and develop quality checks for all products and processes.
- Review and approve manufacturing records to ensure compliance.
- Facilitate communication with third-party testing laboratories alongside Receiving Technicians.
- Act as a back-up SQF Practitioner and support other roles in the Quality Department as needed.
- Write and manage SOPs and SSOPs in collaboration with the Director of Quality.
- Serve as a key member of the HACCP team, driving food safety and quality initiatives.
- Lead day-to-day FSQA operations and identify areas for process improvements.
- Prepare Certificates of Analysis for shipments as required.
Quality Manager Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) role within the food or supplement industry.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Experience with GFSI certifications (SQF, NSF, etc.).
- Working knowledge of HACCP Plans, SQF/NSF Codes, and FDA/local regulatory requirements.
- PCQI Certification required.
- SQF Practitioner certification is preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP software/systems.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred, but not required.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
