Saw Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 21.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to04:30pm )
Saw Operator Essential Functions:
- setting up, adjusting and operating saws to cut raw materials
- utilizing technical drawings, written instructions and verbal instructions to produce dimensionally correct parts
- performing secondary processes (including but not limited to: deburring parts and running additional pieces of equipment) while the machine is running
- inspecting materials before cutting and inspecting parts before and after production to verify conformance to specifications on the work order
- loading and unloading materials and parts from machines, racks, tables, carts, pallets, baskets and boxes
- reading work orders, labels, tags and other documentation; cleaning and maintaining the Saw Area
- performing routine maintenance saws in accordance with established procedures
Saw Operator Qualifications:
- Saw Operating experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Experience operating a saw (or similar equipment)
- Steel toe boots REQUIRED
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
