Material Handler Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Sunday from 06:00am to 06:00pm)

• Helps maintain a safe working environment through good housekeeping and adherence to all environmental health and safety policies, including the proper use of PPE.
• Submits reports on work activities and work-related incidents when required.
• Completes an accurate count of product as it is received. Completes a visual inspection noting any damage to material and reports problems and/or concerns to responsible level(s) of management.
• Scopes and marks incoming product with a receiving ticket number.
• Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed, shipped or stored.
• Ensure all product is safely and correctly palletized prior to shipment or storage.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Supports and actively participates in all Safety and Quality Management activities for this job classification.
• Seeks technical/supervisor expertise to resolve quality related issues.
• Work shifts as prescribed by Management, with overtime as needed.
• Complies with all SOP and local Work Instruction requirements.
