2nd Shift Electrican - Contract to Hire Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
29.00 to $ 33.00 / hour Second Shift
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes, ammeters, and test lamps.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
2nd Shift Electrican - Contract to Hire Qualifications:
- High School diploma, training in vocational schools, related on-the-job experience, or an associate's degree.
- 5 years of experience working as an Electrician or in Electrical Maintenance Proficient in implementing strategies and procedures to ensure public safety and security at local, state, or national levels, safeguarding individuals, data, property, and institutions.
- Skilled in applying engineering principles and technology to design and produce various goods and services, ensuring practical and effective solutions.
- Knowledgeable about machines and tools, capable of understanding their designs, uses, and proficient in repair and maintenance procedures.
- Competent in mathematics, adept at applying arithmetic principles and techniques to solve complex problems effectively.
- Proficient in design techniques and principles, capable of producing precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models to meet project requirements.
