Elwood Staffing is partnering with Vestas (Brighton) to hire Production Team Members who play a crucial role in the assembly of Nacelles.

Assembly Technician / Service Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
21.25 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 05:00pm to03:30am )
- Direct Hire position $24.25-$30.00/hr
- Full-Time work available Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 5pm-330am)
- Efficiently assemble components utilizing both hand and power tools.
- Operate manufacturing equipment with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Adhere to Process Work Instructions and manual production processes, ensuring parts fit and are assembled correctly, including but not limited to bolts, screws, shafts, and bearings.
- Achieve production standards for various tasks within the allotted time frame.
- Handle materials by lifting, positioning, and/or removing them from the work area as needed.
- Manage materials using a bridge crane for loading, stacking, and transportation purposes.
- Interpret schematics to accurately assemble machine components.
- Collaborate with fellow assemblers to construct the final product.
- Test and inspect components to ensure they meet our standards
Assembly Technician / Service Technician Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- A minimum of 2 years of Machinery, Skilled Trades, or Manufacturing experience
- Experience working with large machinery Familiarity with standard power and hand tools
- Mechanical Aptitude Ability to read and follow written instructions in English
