Classified Advisor/Inside Sales

Classified Advisor/Inside Sales Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $16.00 /hour
• Part Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 01:00pm)

• Operates computer placing transient advertising for classified section of the newspaper.
• Informs customers about customer benefits, set-up and pricing of classified ads.
• Accepts and places classified ads from individuals and businesses on the phone and over the counter.
• Handles remakes, extensions, corrections and removal of classifieds ads.
• Calls ad customers for possible renewal of classified ads.
• Regularly solicits non-advertisers from competing print products.
• Sells special signature pages as assigned by supervisor. i.e. Valentine’s, Don’t Drink and Drive.
• Performs collection calls as requested by classified coordinator.
• Scans photos or processes photos submitted by email.
• Brings to the attention of the classified coordinator problems that may occur so the problems may be handled in the best and proper manner.
• Uses computer, applicable classified programs, scanner, printer, fax machine and copy machine.
