Controls Engineering Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
60,000.00 to $ 90,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- This is a professional position responsible for the continuous improvement of plant processes, control systems and equipment upgrades/replacement. Ensures that the facility is capable of manufacturing and finishing our products in the most efficient manner with minimal downtime.
- Analyze plant processes, control systems, and implement improvements.
- Integration of new equipment for efficient and SAFE operation.
- Assist maintenance troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes when requested.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to expand and maintain the SCADA system.
- Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions on existing equipment to improve uptime.
- Maintain quality and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Work with outside contractors on CapEx projects as needed to meet budget and timelines.
- Monitor and analyze control systems to improve reliability and reduce cycle times.
- Other reporting and duties as assigned.
Controls Engineering Technician Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Mechatronics or electrical engineering required
- 2+ years related experience preferred
- Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.
- Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
- Technical proficiency in Rockwell software applications.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Accountability for performance.
- Technical capacity to manage data and utilize information technology.
- Written and oral communication proficiency.
- Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules.
