Seeking a Controls Engineering Technician/Engineer to join a strong Manufacturing team!

Controls Engineering Technician Details:

  • Direct Hire position
  • $60,000.00 to $90,000.00 /annually
  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
  • This is a professional position responsible for the continuous improvement of plant processes, control systems and equipment upgrades/replacement. Ensures that the facility is capable of manufacturing and finishing our products in the most efficient manner with minimal downtime.
  • Analyze plant processes, control systems, and implement improvements.
  • Integration of new equipment for efficient and SAFE operation.
  • Assist maintenance troubleshooting issues with hardware and processes when requested.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to expand and maintain the SCADA system.
  • Work with others to detect problems and implement solutions on existing equipment to improve uptime.
  • Maintain quality and ensure safety standards are upheld.
  • Work with outside contractors on CapEx projects as needed to meet budget and timelines.
  • Monitor and analyze control systems to improve reliability and reduce cycle times.
  • Other reporting and duties as assigned.

Controls Engineering Technician Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Mechatronics or electrical engineering required
  • 2+ years related experience preferred
  • Strong cause-effect analytical abilities to solve problems.
  • Able to work in a changing environment; must be able to promote suggestions to assist in the creation of an efficient workflow.
  • Technical proficiency in Rockwell software applications.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Accountability for performance.
  • Technical capacity to manage data and utilize information technology.
  • Written and oral communication proficiency.
  • Must follow the environmental program and all safety rules.
