Industrial Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as Lathes and Vertical Mills. Maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
- Follows documented procedures standard work, routings, and blueprints to perform safe and defect-free operations to create and machine components.
- Measure, examine, and test completed units in order to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications, using precision instruments such as micrometers and gages
- Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines. Lay out, measure, and mark metal stock in order to display the placement of cuts.
Industrial Machinist Qualifications:
- Knowledge of machine centers, and tools, including their designs, uses, and maintenance.
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. This includes applying principles, techniques, procedures, and equipment to the design and production of various goods and services.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
- Good communication skills to work with multi-dimensional teams.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
