Plant Sanitation Manager

Plant sanitation manager schedules and assigns workloads by maintains close rapport with production, quality assurance, and maintenance. Conducts periodic facility inspections and may perform or support environmental inspections in critical plant areas. Coordinates with production and quality assurance in the in monitoring hygienic plant conditions.

Plant Sanitation Manager Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $20.00 to $30.00 /hour
  • Full Time work available
  • Third Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:00pm to 05:00am)
  • Plan, organize, execute, train, and monitor plant sanitation crew, processes, methods, and pest control program.
  • Directly manage a team of Sanitation Personnel (including scheduling, timekeeping, training, performance reviews, hiring, etc.)
  • Conducts physical inspections of equipment to evaluate effectiveness of sanitation efforts.
  •  Review new equipment or equipment modifications to give feedback on design aspects that affect the ability to clean and sanitize the equipment or process.
  • Participate in audits (internal, regulatory, customer, certification, etc.) for topics related to Sanitation and Food Safety programs. 

Plant Sanitation Manager Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years related experience preferred preferably in the food industry. 
  • Ability to read, write and speak fluent English, preference would be Bi-lingual. 
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Ability to read measurements. 
  • Ability to accurately manage Sanitation chemical and supply inventories.
  • Ability to maintain and repair sanitation cleaning tools.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
