Sales Account Manager

Sales Account Manager Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $55,993.60 /annually
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

• Work with Steel Mills to establish strong relationships and develop supply agreements for new OGS business for supply of material and pricing agreements
• Obtain RFQs through part maker visits to understand potential customer needs, material grades and volume requirements
• Establish the structure for new pricing models, new customers
• Negotiate the sales terms
• Plan and negotiate rate, product, services, changes, and agreements with customers, mills and other vendors
• Work with other internal colleagues to support business creation and ensure a smooth handoff to meet customer needs, including establishing OGS non-disclosure agreements and ensuring risk mitigation
• Develop selling price and cost matrixes based on current market conditions/trends
• Work with existing and prospective customers to provide solutions, helping solve challenges, fill needs, and/or to build new OGS business streams
• Provide creative solutions to customers to maximize efficient use of materials and inventory management
• Present HT new value-add services that enhance existing relationships
• Identify and research potential clients and OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) through various channels (e.g., online research, networking, industry events)
• Attend Steel conferences and seminars to increase familiarity with steel industry and develop relationships with suppliers and potential customers
• Support the development and execution of the strategic sales plan to achieve new business targets within the steel sector
• Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations specific to steel applications
