Description
Staff Accountant
Local accounting firm looking to add a Staff Accountant to manage client accounts and take care of payroll, preparation of financial documents, and prepare and file tax documents. EA or CPA a plus!

Staff Accountant Details:
Direct Hire position- $
60,000.00 to $ 75,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Management of multiple client accounts
- Payroll processing
- Prepare Financial Statements for Business Clients
- Bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Keep track of deadlines and deliverables for multiple clients
- Payroll knowledge
- Sales Tax Returns
- Regular communication with clients
- Answer client questions and provide advice
- Prepare and file tax documents, such as income tax returns
- Check documents for errors
- Meet with clients
- Provide support to clients in the case of an IRS audit
Staff Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience as Tax Preparer and Bookkeeper
- Experience with Microsoft Office & Thomson Reuter, Ultra Tax, or Accounting CS Software Products
- CPA or EA a plus!
