Hot Header Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 02:15pm to10:45pm )
- Set up and operate various progressive header machines to perform operations such as forming, shaping, cutting, and piercing on metal wire and bar stock.
- Read blueprints and documentation to visualize machining requirements and plan the sequence of operations.
- Check initial parts and apply SPC principles during production runs to maintain quality standards. Make necessary adjustments to machine settings
- Load wire or bar stock into machines, position and secure it, and verify feed positions.
- Select machine speed, tooling, and other variables to optimize production efficiency. Perform troubleshooting and rework on machines and tooling as required.
Hot Header Operator Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in the complex set-up and operation of Hot Header machines and related tools.
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering diagrams.
- Proficient in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform minor repairs on machines and tooling.
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
