CNC Quality Engineer

CNC Quality Engineer Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $70,000.00 /annually
• First Shift

• Develop and implement operator inspection reports for machining processes (CNC lathes, Swiss lathe, milling). Establish inspection criteria and measurement systems using calipers, micrometers, and vision systems, etc.
• Ensure conformation of raw material (bar stock) and in-process operations (heat treating, plating, etc.) to meet customer drawings and specifications.
• Investigate and resolve non-conformance issues, develop rework procedures, and implement in-process fail safes to prevent recurrence in future orders.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and quality improvements.
• Lead initiatives to reduce defects, improve efficiency, and optimize processes.
• Analyze production data to suggest improvements in troubled parts.
• Maintain inspection records, quality reports, and non-conformance documentation.
• Prepare reports on quality metrics per the QMS.
