Construction Project Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
70,000.00 to $ 80,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- The Project Engineer position provides construction management support to the Project Management team.
- Work will be performed in the office and in the field. Workdays will vary in length. Travel to jobsites, seminars, conferences and meetings may be required. Work is fast paced and action/result oriented which may be stressful.
- Assist with maintaining record documents which include prints, RFI's, ASI's and PR's on Company projects.
- Provide support services to estimating and production teams on all Company projects.
- Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings in a timely manner.
- Assist with taking project photographs and maintaining the project photograph directory.
- Manage the day-to-day operations for various projects in such a manner that the workflow is smooth, the bids are completed on time with the quality required to serve the Customer’s needs.
- Provide positive support services to the estimating and production teams.
- Assist with material take-offs.
- Track contractor daily reports.
- Perform any other duties assigned.
Construction Project Engineer Qualifications:
- High School Diploma – Preferred: Associates Degree in Construction Management or related training from an accredited college.
- Two years of experience as a Project Engineer with a construction company.
- Must be able to perform mathematical and algebraic calculations, prepare take off and labor calculations and understand the metric system and related conversions as applicable to Engineering/Project Management.
- Must be able to sufficiently communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical and business information.
- Personal skills must include creativity, strong communication, organization and leadership.
- Must be accurate with all work, including computer data entry.
- Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, work independently and deal with stress.
