Welder Assembler Details:
Contract to Hire position- $
25.00 / hour First Shift
- Weld locomotive parts/heavy plate metal such as under frame structures, end plates, draft gear pockets
- Perform single and multi-pass welds in all positions
- Repair welds (using grinders, cutting torches, gouging equipment and other tools)
- Ensure welders parameters are programmed
- Fit, weld, air test parts
Welder Assembler Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of previous welding experience with GMAW and SMAW
- High School Diploma or GED
