Sewing Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
16.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sewing Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate sewing machines to assemble various fitness products, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Juki and industrial sewing machines to sew, tack, and assemble elastic straps and other fitness products.
- Sew straight lines, change needles, adjust presser foot and bobbins, and replace yarn and thread as needed.
- Assemble sub-components or finished products from raw materials, cutting and attaching labels/tags.
- Pack finished goods, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Track production progress on schedule boards.
- Inspect and test finished products to meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Perform routine maintenance on sewing equipment.
Sewing Operator Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience operating sewing machines.
- Ability to sew straight lines and perform basic machine adjustments.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs and performing repetitive motions, including bending, stooping, and squatting.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work well in a team. Basic math skills required.
