Header Department Tool & Die Maker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 31.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Monday throughSaturday from 02:30pm to01:00am )
- Strong understanding of slip and press fit relationships.
- Repair Header tools and make complete header tool components.
- Work with carbide, hardened tool steels, dies and cutting tools to close tolerance.
- Work with mills, lathes, surface grinders, hones, and fixtures.
- Use shop math as required.
Header Department Tool & Die Maker Qualifications:
- Good machining skills.
- Shop math
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Use measuring instruments (i.e., micrometers, calipers, comparators).
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a tool maker for a manufacturing facility in header department.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
