SANITATION CDL TRUCK DRIVER Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
22.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 12:05am to02:30pm )
- SANITATION CDL TRUCK DRIVER: Under direct supervision of the Transfer Station & Collections Operations Manager and Operations Director, the CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely operating a collection truck, and providing prompt, courteous, and complete waste and/or recycling removal services for customers.
- In addition, the CDL Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring his or her vehicle is in compliance with the District’s safety standards prior to operating to operating the vehicle, ensures that all District, state, and federal regulations are adhered to at all times while operating the vehicle, and completes all daily documentation in accordance with District policies and procedures.
SANITATION CDL TRUCK DRIVER Qualifications:
- a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for operating a garbage truck
- a high school diploma or equivalent, physical fitness to lift heavy objects
- experience driving large vehicles, and a strong commitment to safety protocols, often including a clean driving record; depending on the location, some mechanical knowledge may also be require
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
