Maintenance Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
26.63 to $ 29.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, repair, and maintain machinery and facilities to ensure smooth production operations.
- Troubleshooting: Analyze mechanical and operational issues, perform timely corrections, and make running adjustments to optimize production quality.
- Testing & Documentation: Examine and test equipment post-repairs or downtime; document operational data for setup and preventive maintenance.
- Continuous Improvement: Support production and quality system efficiency workshops, proposing and implementing process and productivity enhancements.
- Equipment Optimization: Advise on technical specifications for new equipment and modifications, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Inventory Management: Manage spare parts and consumables inventory to minimize downtime and maintain readiness.
- Shop Floor Support: Facilitate equipment relocations and ensure seamless operations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain up-to-date documentation for all maintenance activities.
- Collaborative Projects: Participate in cross-functional efforts to enhance operational performance.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
- Educational Background: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in maintenance within a manufacturing setting or equivalent experience.
- 3 Minimum Years of Experience with Maintenance / Engineering.
- 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
