Elwood Staffing is immediately hiring a Dispatcher for a manufacturing facility in Tyler. Monday-Saturday $15-16/hr!

Dispatcher Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
15.00 to $ 16.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Various shifts available ( Monday throughSaturday )
- Coordinating incoming & outgoing freight to ensure timely deliveries in a manufacturing environment
- Check-in trucks and review Bills of Lading
- Freight management
- Production scheduling assisting
- Dispatching trucks
- Negotiating freight rates with contracted carriers
- Assist in inventory and basic invoicing
Dispatcher Qualifications:
- 2 years experience dispatching freight
- Must have experience with Bills of Lading
- Previous experience dispatching trucks
- Knowledge of state, local, and federal DOT regulations
- Knowledge of office procedures
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills are required.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and be detail-oriented
- Good customer service orientation
- Good computer skills; Microsoft Office & SAP
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
