Payroll Specialist Details:
Direct Hire position- $
62,400.00 to $ 70,720.00 / annually Full Time work availableFirst Shift
- Administer and process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 200 employees using Paylocity, including full-time, part-time, and temporary staff.
- Handle multi-state payroll processing, ensuring compliance with varying state and local regulations.
- Manage payroll complexities across multiple jurisdictions, including taxes, wage requirements, and reporting.
- Ensure accurate calculation of hours, overtime, PTO, deductions, and bonuses in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Compliance and Tax Registration: Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll regulations to ensure compliance.

Payroll Specialist Qualifications:
- 3+ years of previous payroll experience required
- High school diploma or GED
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred
- Must be proficient in payroll software like Paylocity or Paycom
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
