Machine Maintenance Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 06:00am to02:30pm )
- Diagnose repairs needed for metal stamping dies and roll form tooling.
- Maintain and work to a die repair priority list.
- Maintain die repair work order file system.
- Replace broken die components.
- Sharpen punches, shears and die blocks, etc. using both manual and semi-automated surface grinders.
- Make changes to die components using manual mills and lathes.
- Assist press operators with die issues.
- Maintain a die shop inventory such as punches, screws, die springs and specific die components.
- Change over dies to make different parts.
Machine Maintenance Qualifications:
Required Skills:
- Math Skills (algebra, geometry)
- Strong Work Ethic
- Self-Motivated
- Working knowledge of machine shop and shop practices such as surface grinders, drill presses, mills, cut off saw, band saw
- Attention to detail
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, height indicators
- Ability to interpret die drawings and tolerances required for parts
- Technical degree in die design/maintenance field
- Previous metal stamping experience is a plus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
