Tooling Technician

Tooling Technician Details:
Direct Hire position- $
23.00 to $ 28.00 / hour Full Time work availableVarious shifts available
- 2nd or 3rd shifts available
- Train 1st shift 6:45am to 3:00pm) for 1-2 months
- To repair and maintain die casting dies
- Trim dies both in the tool room setting and while the dies are installed in machines.
- Locate dies scheduled for maintenance, and repair die, inspect dies.
- Assist in repair and maintenance of tooling equipment.
Tooling Technician Qualifications:
- Strong mechanics are a good fit to train.
- Perform data entry
- No diploma required.
- Provide own toolbox and tools.
- Knowledge of mics and calipers.
- Experience needed reading diagrams, tape measure and blueprints.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
