Quality Engineer Details:

  • Contract to Hire position
  • $42.00 to $46.00 /hour
  • First Shift
  • Analyze and resolve technical problems related to quality assurance and product design.
  • Utilize Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) tools to identify and address potential risks in processes and products.
  • Conduct evaluations to ensure products meet customer requirements and specifications. 
  • Execute customer test plans, participate in design and test reviews, and report research findings.
  • Prepare, review, and critically evaluate technical proposals, plans, and reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Implement and apply basic statistical methods to support data-driven decisions.
  • Proactively contribute to the generation of creative solutions for technical challenges.
  • Maintain a professional and positive image of the company during interactions with clients and 

Quality Engineer Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with word processing and data analysis software. 
  • Understanding of basic statistical methods and their application. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to develop innovative solutions to technical problems and evaluate deficiencies in technical documentation.
  • Capability to determine project timelines and manage basic project tasks effectively.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team to achieve technical project goals.
  • High standards of accuracy and performance.
  • Ability to project a positive and professional image of the company.
  • Valid Ohio driver’s license required.
