Diesel Mechanic–Centrifugal Pump (Oil & Gas Field) Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 32.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
- Temp-to-Hire Pay: $25.00-$32.00 p/h DOE
- Full-time; 40-60 hours per week
- Mon–Fri, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (with weekend work as req)
- On-Call Availability: Required for after-hours & emergency support
- Must have own tools & reliable transportation to commute to the yard
Diesel Mechanic–Centrifugal Pump (Oil & Gas Field) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. A technical certification in diesel mechanics, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in diesel mechanic work, specifically with centrifugal pumps & diesel engines in the oil & gas industry.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including diesel engine troubleshooting, pump mechanics, and hydraulic systems.
- Previous experience with water transfer systems, generators, and oil and gas field equipment is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in diagnosing & repairing diesel engines & centrifugal pump systems.
- Ability to read & interpret technical manuals, blueprints, & schematics.
- Knowledge of welding, fabrication, & metalworking is a plus.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
