MAG Machinist-Weekend Only Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Weekend Shift ( Friday throughSunday from 06:00am to06:30pm )
MAG Machinist Responsibilities
- Responsible for the set up and operation of the Mag machine cell, as well as checking first parts using precision measuring equipment.
- Configure mills by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
- Load machines with work pieces
- Maintain specifications by observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools
- Adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes
- Meet production goals in terms of cycle time, quantity, and quality
MAG Machinist-Weekend Only Qualifications:
- Blueprint reading
- Use of calipers and micrometers
- Lifting: 50lbs occasionally
- Standing: 12hr Shift
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
