CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 to $ 20.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
Second Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 03:00pm to01:30am )
Weekend Shift (Friday through Sunday from 6AM-6:30PM)
- Responsible for the set up and operation of 3, 4 and 5 axis Haas CNC Machines, as well as checking first parts, using precision measuring and hand tools.
- Configure mills and lathes by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs
- Load machines with work pieces
- Observing operations; taking measurements; detecting malfunctions; troubleshooting processes; editing programs; sharpening and replacing worn tools;
CNC Machinist 2nd Shift Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years’ experience in an aerospace/aircraft machine shop setting
- Experience with Multi-Axis CNC Machines a must
- Experience with Haas machines/controls preferred
- Knowledge of hand tools and precision measuring tools, such as calipers and micrometers
- Proficient in blueprint reading
