Automatic Press Operator Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableSecond Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 03:00pm to12:00am )
- Operate automatic presses and related equipment (press, straightener, feeder, stacker, Smart Pac, etc.).
- Assist set-up team with set up and die changes.-Perform coil changes and move material from the coil all the way through the die.
- Use and understand quality control instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and fixtures and record findings.
- Run presses and equipment at Standard Rates.
- Perform other company related duties as assigned.
Automatic Press Operator Qualifications:
- Previous press operator experience preferably in a metal stamping or similar environment.
- History of reliability.
- Add and subtract decimals, fractions, and percentages.
- Capable of using various machine tools, micrometers, and calipers. Mechanical ability a must.
- Extensive standing, recurring bending as well as moderate to heavy lifting.
- Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at a time.
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
