Vehicle Mechanic Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
19.00 to $ 25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 08:00am to05:00pm )
•Inspect and test vehicles and complete preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotations.
•Maintains vehicles’ functional condition by listening to operator complaints and conducting inspections.
•Conduct auto estimating for repair costs
•Utilize power tools and equipment for repairs and maintenance
•Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
•Repairs mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replaces parts and components.
•Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls, and updating systems.
•Other duties as assigned
Vehicle Mechanic Qualifications:
- 5+ years experience as a Vehicle Mechanic
- Excellent communication skills; written and verbal
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
