Shop Assistant Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
This position works closely with the Shift Supervisor and will perform general labor tasks including assembly and general maintenance functions.
This is an entry level position with an opportunity for growth for the right candidate.
Shop Assistant Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
- 1 year of experience in a manufacturing/shop environment
- Some computer experience in MS Office is desirable
- Ability to drive a hi-lo; ability to obtain certification
- Knowledge of hand and power tools, cleaning, lifting, sawing, grinding, and able to use electric pallet jacks and forklifts
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
