Waterjet Operator in Training

Waterjet Operator in Training Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $18.00 to $20.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 06:00am to 04:30pm)

• Assist in loading and unloading raw materials onto and from the waterjet cutting machine.
• Ensure proper material handling techniques are used to prevent damage.
• Accurately identify and locate materials based on work orders or cutting lists.
• Unload cut parts from the waterjet machine, ensuring proper identification and sorting.
• Perform basic visual inspections of cut parts for quality and accuracy.
• Identify and report any discrepancies to the Waterjet Machine Operator or Supervisor.
• Perform basic deburring operations on cut parts using appropriate tools and techniques 
• Ensure deburring is performed to the required specifications and within safety guidelines.
• Marking and identifying parts for further operations (e.g., bending, welding).
• Preparing parts for secondary operations (e.g., drilling, tapping, grinding).
• Packaging and labeling parts for shipment or storage.
• Assisting with fixturing or clamping of parts for subsequent operations.
• Machine Operation: Under close supervision, perform basic machine operating tasks.
