Accountant Tax Preparer
Searching for an experienced Tax Preparer for a local CPA firm in Longview, TX. Monday- Friday 8 am-5 pm, occasional Saturdays during tax season. $20-30/hr based on experience.

Accountant Tax Preparer Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
20.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughSaturday )
- Manage all accounting transactions
- Prepare budget forecasts
- Publish financial statements on time
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Ensure timely bank payments
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- 100% paid medical and dental insurance, 401K, and paid vacation
Accountant Tax Preparer Qualifications:
- Previous Tax Prep at CPA firm is required
- Experience in QuickBooks preferred
- Experience in basic accounting such as payroll, sales tax, data entry, and reconciliations
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
