Utility Worker Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
17.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( 06:00am to06:00pm )
A utility worker performs a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair tasks on public infrastructure systems like water lines, sewer systems, storm drains, and related facilities, including installation, cleaning, and repair, often operating hand and power tools while adhering to safety regulations and working as part of a crew to maintain the functionality of the utility network
Utility Worker Qualifications:
- Ability to remain upright for long periods and to move throughout buildings and their grounds
- Ability to move and operate equipment and tools commonly used for maintenance
- Familiarity with how to safely use and store equipment and potentially hazardous or flammable materials
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
