Assistant Manager Details:
Temporary position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work available- Weekend work required
First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:30am to05:00pm )
•Assist the Manager of VPC with planning and managing all POV Vehicle Processing Center Operations.
•Work with other support providers including vehicle transporters, vehicle repair facilities, and facility managers.
•Assist the manager in leading, directing, and performing the VPC in-processing, and out-processing.
•Monitors VPC performance metrics, compiles data, and completes required reports/data as requested or required, Advanced computer experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
•Participates in planning and execution of operations for the VPC site and in team planning with the VPC Manager.
•Communicate appropriately with upper management, staff, subcontractors/suppliers, and customers
•Some travel required (occasional)
• Must work outside of normal duty hours including weekends and holidays.
Assistant Manager Qualifications:
• Possess/Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Demonstrate strong attention to details
• Possess/Demonstrate good oral and written communications
• Clean driving record and unrestricted license
• Extensive experience and training in logistics planning and operations
• Thorough knowledge of safety training and implantation and knowledge of OSHA preferred.
•Documented experience as a leader/Manager.
• Experience in managing transportation operations and the ability to operate a manual transmission.
• Must be able to type 50+ wpm
