Experienced Offset Press Operator 2nd shift Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $20.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Second Shift

• No lunch break on this shift
• Set up and operate rotary (offset) printing press that prints business forms, using lithography process, according to customer’s specifications.
• Press make-ready:
  • Mount and register printing plates to plate cylinder.
• Load mill rolls onto press.
• Make adjustments to press for printing process including final matching of ink, fill ink fountain and adjust inking rollers to regulate flow of ink to obtain even distribution to plate, mount/engage and set numbering machines, place rubber marginal words and/or strike-ins on the collar, install/engage and register line hole and/or file hole punches, install and/or adjust perf wheels on shaft and install cross perf blades.
• Press operation:
  • Turn dials/switches/handles or push buttons to adjust impression cylinder pressure exerted on blanket cylinder to assure even printing impression according to specified ink, paper and plate being used.
