The Accounting Specialist will assist with essential accounting and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. A key qualification is quarterly taxes, year-end taxes, and payroll.

Accounting Specialist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 to $ 30.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday )
- Mon-Thursday 7am-4:30pm Friday 8am-12pm
- Maintain and oversee financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations such as GAAP for US operations and IFRS for international activities.
- Leads the accounts payable process including reconciling vendor statements, accurately coding and entering invoices into accounting system, and processing invoices and payments.
- Administers the expense management systems including managing employee credit cards, reporting, etc.
- Prepares, calculates, records, and processes payroll payments including auditing and computing time clock records, subtracting deductions such as federal and state tax withholdings, insurance deductions, and garnishments.
- Responsible for quarterly taxes, year-end taxes, W-2’s, 1099’s and updates to the company financial software.
Accounting Specialist Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in tax prep and yearly, quarterly and monthly taxes and reports.
- QuickBooks and Microsoft Suites experience required
- Knowledge of NetSuite, Job Boss, or Fulcrum is a bonus
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
- Pre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment
