Carbon Composite Technician Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
18.00 to $ 23.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughThursday from 07:00am to05:30pm )
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of composite manufacturing principles and best practices for quality part production. This is an opportunity to be integral to product design and tooling strategy for manufacturing and assembly.
Duties/Essential Job Functions:
- Leads a team of manufacturing staff by communicating job expectations by managing the build plan.
- Manufacture and assemble composites for low volume production and prototypes
- Track and report hourly count of production throughput, FTC, and quality issues while also performing hourly in process inspections (quality and process conformance)
- Read and interpret work instructions and manufacturing documents to produce finished product.
- Assemble, pre-fit and bond a variety of composite fabrications, parts, skins or equipment and cut, trim and drill composite parts to specifications
Carbon Composite Technician Qualifications:
- Experience with high temp epoxy and carbon fiber is preferred
- Basic understanding of the material properties of carbon fiber and resins
- High School Diploma/High School Equivalency (GED) or higher
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong communications skill
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- ERP Experience
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
