Quality Engineer Details:
Direct Hire position- $
55,000.00 to $ 70,000.00 / annually First Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Support quality inspectors and technicians
- Identify, propose and conduct internal quality process improvement initiatives
- Assist in identification of key process and product characteristics and how to control and measure them
- Communicate and train suppliers on requirements of the Supplier Quality Manual
- Perform supplier evaluations for initial selection and approval as well as for on-going qualification/disqualification
- Requires traveling 25%
Quality Engineer Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in quality engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a comparable discipline OR
• ASQ certified Quality Engineer with 1-3 years of experience OR
• Associates degree in a related discipline plus 5 years of experience
• Experience with Japanese transplant automotive companies is a plus
