AP Clerk needed for Hendersonville manufacturer! Sage experience preferred.

AP Clerk Details:
Direct Hire position- $
45,000.00 / annually Salaried
- Gather and assemble delivery tickets and invoices from multiple locations, verifying accuracy of deliveries to billed amount.
- Code invoices to various jobs/categories while following individual state tax guidelines.
- Input invoices into Sage Accounting software.
- Input credit card receipts into Sage Accounting software and reconcile on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and timely submit appropriate sales & use and fuel tax returns.
- Stay current with changing state tax regulations across all operating states, ensuring compliance with filing deadlines and reporting requirements.
- Maintain accounts payable and tax filing system
- Assist in weekly AP payment run
AP Clerk Qualifications:
- Work experience and Associate’s degree in accounting is preferred
- Ability to accurately handle large volumes of data and perform detailed calculations.
- Thorough understanding of accounts payable principles, including federal and state tax regulations and compliance requirements across multiple states.
- Proficiency in Sage 300 accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
