Machinist Details:
Temp-to-Hire position- $
25.00 / hour Full Time work availableFirst Shift ( Monday throughFriday from 07:00am to03:30pm )
- Machining Operations: Plan and execute complex machining operations with precision.
- Fabrication & Assembly: Fabricate and assemble various product parts, tooling, and assemblies of different types and sizes.
- Tool & Die Work: Perform jig, fixture, tool, and die work to support production needs.
- EDM Machine Operation: Program, set up, and operate Sodick EDM machines efficiently.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure product quality and adherence to engineering specifications.
- Physical Requirements: Frequently lift, push, carry, or move items up to 25 lbs.
- Safety & Proximity: Work continually near machines with mechanical moving parts, sharp cutting surfaces, belts, and pullers.
Machinist Qualifications:
- Proven experience in complex machining operations and fabrication.
- Proficiency in programming, setting up, and operating Sodick EDM machines.
- Strong background in jig, fixture, tool, and die work.
- Ability to frequently lift, push, carry, or move items up to 25 lbs.
- Knowledge of safety protocols when working near machines with mechanical moving parts, sharp cutting surfaces, belts, and pullers.
- High level of precision and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly with colleagues.
- Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
